Submissions
MIND OVER MATTER is always looking for talented creators of any kind. Wherever and whenever you are, you have a chance to submit your works to us!
If you want to contribute to our zine and have us publish your work in our next issue, consider the following guidelines carefully before submission:
Communicate and submit everything via (mindmattercollective@gmail.com).
We only accept previously unpublished works.
Must be above 13 years old to submit works.
You may submit works in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
Your work must be relevant to the current theme we set.
Your work should be authentic, original, and appropriate.
Content shouldn’t be offensive, insensitive, harmful, or damaging to other people.
Give a title and short summary (under 3 sentences), and clearly define it upon submission.
Your work will all be reviewed and curated under the moderation of our editors.
You may choose to be anonymous under an alias to allow us to credit works.
You may request for your work to be taken down via our email.
Your work can’t be taken down if it’s published on a physical zine copy.
Written work/s should include a thumbnail/s for every piece and should credit thumbnail artists when required.
Specify the category or genre in which your submission follows (essay, poetry, opinion, fiction, art, photography, music, etc.)
All art and music submissions should include a 150-300 word write-up.
Files with image formats (GIF, PNG, JPG, JPEG, etc.) should not exceed 20MB
Music and film submissions should include Youtube, Spotify or Soundcloud links.
Music submissions are encouraged to attach social media links, band/artist’s pictures or a press kit if any.
