The Sides of Political Art We Do Not (Often) See
When we see art we see it as a glimpse of an expression of the artist who created it. May it be abstract or displaying a scene of clear description, artists have no limit to what they portray using the media they would like to use.
Are We Puzzle Pieces or A Bunch of Petals?
Reflections on what it means to seek out our truest selves

How can a story be told in mosaic? This essay dives into the work of Han Kang in her award-winning novel, The Vegetarian which gives commentary on Korean culture and showcases how stories can be told in mosaic to expose the gritty underbelly of our psyche.
Orion Transmission to the New World
In the process of discerning ourselves and our place in the universe, we need as much of "looking out, up, and backwards" as "looking in, down, and onwards".
Where to Next?
College hasn’t prepared me how to navigate my life after university, which can be pretty scary.
For I’m No Superhero
As beings, it is more than usual for one to neglect the thoughts in one’s mind & desire in the soul as it doesn’t feel as one’s belonging. Often felt like society’s norms and non-verbal validations are the world’s preeminent mastery to achieve and act out to be safely ‘sheltered’. Though clearly it isn’t—and though deep inside it is comprehensible—one’s still no superhero—as superheroes are brave, and one’s own identity is not even theirs.
the reunion
This poem is about finding yourself again after a long time, and even though you’ve changed, you’re okay with it. It’s a reminder to never leave yourself to be there for someone else.
Plethora of People
In the course of our lives, we encounter a lot of individuals, whether their presence is momentary or everlasting, or regardless of how long they stay in our lives. On those sullen winter days, I ask myself; have I ever felt like this - with you before?
Parts of Me
To be honest, this piece just came out from one of my anxious pondering sessions.
Glass floor, Glass ceiling

growing up with tomdaya (an observation)
We have seen Spider-Man: No Way Home, back then during the winter months, yes? So we have coincidentally shipped every Spiderman and their love interests together, yes? Despite the uncanny film history being repeated again (to the point the producers had to warn Zendaya and Tom about the romance, separately), what makes the new Spiderman couple most interesting?
Taking Up Space: Alex Sloane on Self-Producing Music, Misogyny, and Mental Health
Always seen with her signature romantic curls, Alex Sloane is the embodiment of hyperfemininity and daintiness. With a hint of a dreamy, almost nostalgic quality in her music as well as the self-directed music videos she has published, it is no wonder that her latest release “Kinda Hate U Kinda Love U” was an overnight Internet sensation.
I Planted You a Garden
The language of flowers is a secret garden, embodying symbolic meanings unique to their species. This carrd holds 4 flowers: 1 poem for each flower. chamomile symbolises rest and relaxation, lotus symbolises enlightenment and rebirth, purple hyacinths portray forgiveness while bluebells represent kindness. Through these poems, I commemorate each flower as different ways people grow to become better versions of themselves- and bloom.
